Dwuan Rice raised in Pasadena, California where he attended Pasadena High School. During his four years playing basketball for Pasadena High School he earned the award of Valley Player of the Year
- After high school, Dwuan attended Los Angeles City College where his team won the California Community College State Championship
- After one year, Dwuan transferred to California State University, Bakersfield. At CSUB, he received first-team All Conference honors twice.
- After college, Dwuan won a championship with the Vermont Frost Heaves in the ABA and received Most Valuable Player. He then played for the Idaho Stampede in the NBA Development League where he won another. Dwuan is still pursuing his professional career in Basketball.
- Majored in Criminal Justice.
